Dave Levine launches FinancialOutlook.com - May 28th, 2008

FinancialOutlook.com is a stock picking blog written by Dave Levine. As he says on the blog’s header, “I have no idea if I will beat the S&P 500 or not. But I am trying and I am documenting it here. I haven’t missed one episode of Fast Money on CNBC since June 07 when I started watching. That probably makes me crazy . . . but at least its better than when I used to watch Jerry Springer every day.”

Dave is known for selling sextoys on the internet and throwing parties. Nevertheless his passion for stocks prompted him to launch this blog. “I would often write out my ideas to help me keep track of my ideas and goals. And I had friends asking me my thoughts on stocks. So rather than writing my ideas in emails and sending them to the few people who cared, I decided to just post them in a blog. Whether anyone reads it or not is not really a concern of mine. I do it for fun and it helps me with my investing.”
